What we've thought about

Accessibility is part of how we design and build, not an afterthought. Here's some of what we work to get right.

Keyboard friendly

You can move through the site and check out using just a keyboard, with visible focus.

Screen-reader aware

Meaningful headings, labelled controls and descriptive text for images where it helps.

Readable contrast

We aim for clear colour contrast between text and background throughout.

Resizable text

Text scales cleanly when you zoom or enlarge it, without breaking the layout.

Clear, consistent layout

Predictable navigation and plain-English labels, so nothing is a guessing game.

Labelled forms

Form fields have clear labels and helpful error messages when something needs fixing.

The standard we aim for

We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the widely recognised benchmark for accessible websites. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we test and improve as the site grows.

We're honest that we won't always get everything perfect, which is exactly why the section below matters.

Your device can help too

Your computer, phone and browser have powerful built-in accessibility tools, often more capable than anything a single website can offer:

  • Zoom: hold Ctrl and + (or Cmd and + on a Mac)
  • Built-in screen readers: VoiceOver, Narrator, TalkBack
  • System-wide larger text, high contrast and reduced motion settings

AbilityNet has clear, free guides for adjusting any device.

Where we know we can do better

Being open about this is part of taking accessibility seriously. We're actively working on:

  • Some older downloadable documents may not yet be fully accessible. Ask us and we'll provide the information another way.
  • Some third-party payment and configuration widgets are outside our direct control — we work with those suppliers to improve them.
  • Some interactive product configurator elements are complex — we're reviewing them against WCAG 2.2 criteria and improving iteratively.
  • If you find something we haven't listed, please tell us — it genuinely helps.
We're here to help

Stuck on something? We'll sort it.

If anything on the site is hard to use, or you'd like help finding, configuring or ordering a product another way, just get in touch. Tell us what you were trying to do and the device or assistive technology you're using, and we'll help and use it to improve the site.

Reporting an issue?

It helps us most if you can include:

  • The page or task
  • Your device and browser
  • Any assistive technology you use
