Sizes and configuration

This 4 panel layout suits openings from around 2400mm to 3600mm wide. It can be configured to fold all four panels one way, or split as three and one or two and two, and folds internally or externally to suit your space. The Visofold 1000 aluminium bifold is also available in 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 panel layouts.

Common questions

How many panels can I have? From 2 to 7 panels in a single run, folding left, right or splitting from the centre, with an optional traffic door so you can step through without opening the whole set.

How energy efficient are they? The thermally broken aluminium frame with double glazing achieves U-values from around 1.4 W/m2K, keeping heat in and meeting Part L of the building regulations.

Are they secure? Yes. Multi-point locking, a high-security cylinder and internally beaded glazing are fitted as standard, engineered to meet PAS 24 where the configuration allows.

What colours are available? The full RAL palette, powder coated, with a dual-colour option so the inside can differ from the outside. Anthracite grey and black are the most popular.

How long do they take? Made to order in Britain, most bifolds are ready in around three to four weeks depending on colour and glass.
