The Essential Information
1. The opening dimensions
Width and height of the opening, measured to the nearest millimetre. If you haven't formed the opening yet (for a new extension), your architect or builder can provide the structural opening dimensions from the drawings. If you're replacing an existing door, measure the existing frame opening.

2. The door type
