The Problem with 'Something for Everyone'
Most door suppliers offer a range of products at different price points from different manufacturers. The logic is sound commercially: you capture more of the market, you can compete on price when needed, and you always have an answer for every budget.
The problem is what this does to expertise and accountability. When you sell twenty different door systems from ten different manufacturers, you know all of them reasonably well and none of them deeply. We didn't want to build that business.
